many will say ek9's were built for track, no they werent they were designed to be owned and to be driven. if they were designed for track theyd come WITH cages and WITH track tyres, it may be a decent base to start with but its just a car

i never said they were just a name, to pay 4x the price for something as simple as an oil cap for the pleasure of it saying mugen....how blind do you have to be?


yes i do agree im on a band wagon :)
but you look at these cars and see bad looks? no you see you cant thrash them at a track. just fancy on being diffrent to what everyone on here wants is all. and u do have to admit, when you see anyone buying an ek9 you already are thinking...some kinda of volks/regas/spoons lowered and engine mods..

i thought you said different? then why are you contradicting yourself by saying you are on the band wagon?

you do know most people who can afford to buy and run an ek9 generally has more disposable income than those who buys ej9/ek4 so they can afford these 'overpriced' jdm stuff?

you will be more welcomed if you go to civiclife ;) just a heads up

LOL stance is kool and that, but each to their own. If you like stance go stance your car, no need to come on a forum and moan about company names being overpriced.

Its the same for those stance fanboys who buy expensive wheels, isnt that the same as buying a spoon 4-2-1 header or somthing? Like spending £1500 on BBS Wheels and £2000 on air ride n ****. Its the same thing?

I see countless stanced cars with dished wheels on stupidly low un-drivable conditions. I mean mines not even that low and i have to go differernt routes to avoid humps, god knows what those cars have to go through! What's the point in getting a car if you cant even drive to the local petrol station lol

I love the pictures, great looking rides, seems like there's a strong opinion here. I would hate to have you guys come to America lol, I'm more of a track style person because I actually take the car to te track, but it's nice to see a different style. Something new, better than the old ricer look lol.

I would like to think we can express opinions but keep it friendly on here, we generally do. People will do different things to their cars which in my opinion is GREAT!!!

To have the same taste, same parts, same looking cars would be boring!!! I can respect the risks people take on things to be different, and the price tags that go with it.....i am always looking to do something different, but within my taste..... Do what you want, do what you can afford and especially DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!!!

There will be people that dont like, are unsure and want to dry hump the wing mirror.....part of everyday life, smile, turn around, look at your personal creation and "who cares if someone doesnt like it".....its yours :nice:

Keep us posted with your updates, some of us like to see peoples creations :run:

£200 camber arms
£1000-2000 for GOOD wheels
£??? for arch work

oh yeah also, with some track cars it doesnt really matter if it has a scratch/dent here and there as its going to happen with in time.

hellaflush is all about having the cleanest car going with the most baller jdm bits

so yea you deffinatly havent thought about it.
 
going back on topic... has that purple one been painted with cans?

I quite like the look of the black one with the sunstrip. Other than that I think they all look a bit naff but then it's not really my thing.
 
i can look at them but to me its pointless making a car your can drive properly! I get fed up with speed bumps as it is, never mind worrying about a pebble on the road!

ok ive been downed on the costs, although i never said it was cheaper to stance a car, but surely u agree that spoon and mugen basic parts are horrifically expensive?
our hondas are/or were built to be a cheaper alternative for young people over bmw m3's rs4's etc, just makes no sense really.

Did someone forget where he is? Are we still on ek9.org or did we go on Youtube? Don't argue with someone that has a different opinion, there's no need to it. BTW we (OF COURSE) know that track cars are way beyond the cost of keeping a car clean and taking it out just on Sundays.. If a track car MOVES it means at least a pair of tyres. As for the friend with the 'shitty talking' maybe my friend you could calm down, none said something about your car. And for the reason I got in.. THOSE HOTTIES ARE BEAUTIFULL! I don't agree with the style, but when I look at those babes beside the wheels they look delicious..!
 
should have posted this with a poll on who likes and dislikes the camber.
