Not a fan of stance at all , and especially hate it on more sportier cars like EK9's , Dc2's , s2000's , m3 etc..

Whats mad though is how this ''cool'' stance **** has influenced people all around the world .. even here in Ireland , its getting more common to here people saying American words ... eg ''stock'' instead of standard , hood instead of bonnet .. apparently we have Integra Gsr's in this country now too WTF haha.

Just think with all this **** , people are trying too hard to be cool and forgetting to be original..

the pictures looks amazing, please post more if you can , the way in which they are shot is actually brilliant, i can definately appreciate the photography... i love the look of the car's but for me its not practical i'd have to have a second run around which i cannot afford. i just love the track car look more so..

as you are a member who is into something different you will know to be alternative, is to be ready to receive oposite opinions to yours however you must not take these persoanlly, as they are neither correct nor wrong..

don't worry arguing about opinions its a " catch 22 " it is a never ending argument as there is no logical answer. The whole argument is based on nothing but personal taste, to which nobody is correct....

one thing i have noticed about the style of " hellaflush " is i think it takes a mixture of styles from styles in the past ( just like any new scene really ) ... like:
late 80's - early 90's america where they had the style called "low riders".. and probably still do this in certain area's ( i wouldn't know i'm english ) lol.. also the bosozoku style from japan in the 60's and 70's.. and the germanic origin DUB scene from the Vbud scene...

I guess i mean don't do something because its termed different or cool and don't do something to be different or cool, because to do what you love and not care what others think is the true meaning of COOL

i in no way intend to start an argument just thought i'd provoke some free thought in to this thread as i'm sure we can all see its getting heated..

Track look, "stanced" look. Both cool,whats the problem? I agree that some cars suit it more,but im a fan of a stanced EK as much as the next "hella" fanboy. Just think that some cars are more suited for it than others.

Both cool in there own rights, and both can cost a small fortune if done properly. Also who was it that said EK9 owners generally have more money than ej9/ek3 owners etc?, i couldve bought 2 ek9's with the money in my ej9 lol

As much as I don't like these cars, I can appreciate the fact that someone else thinks it's cool. If it was up to me we would all be running more or less standard cars and that would be boring! Everyone's different, do whatever you like to your car but don't expect others not commenting on it in a bad way if they feel like it, especially when you open a thread named ''Gauging Awesomness''... Personally if you ask me I think it looks ghay and I don't see the point, but guess what - there are thousands of BMW, VAG, Muscle Car drivers who think my Honda's ghay. Do I care? Ehmmmm, nope. I like it, I drive it. Don't expect everyone loving it just because you think it's cool. I think it's absolutely pointless - but if you think otherwise I am cool with you doing whatever you want!

everything you said there is spot on! i agree with you whole heartedly,

i never one said i hated track, in fact i said it looks great, and personal taste is of course anyones opinion, but then there is the fact that people are ignorant to other peoples tastes.

i just find it funny that you get people that jump in and say its ****, when the only real diffrence is about 5 cm height and camber.

ive really enjoyed this thread so far because it shows you who cares for cars as a whole and who are genuine people who are wiulling to see that everyone has their own tastes, like:

just my thoughts.

am more into big gay wing, canards, diffuser, splitters etc.

some folk think my car looks daft driving down the road but i dont care, as long as i can go fast round back roads then am cool with it.

mugen and spoon is expensive but its a high end tuning brand. You can't expect to pay peanuts for it can you.

to say that honda's were built for mainly young people is silly, its basically a grocery shopping car for the eldery and small familys. Ek9/dc2 are the only enthusiast one imo and should not be ruined by doing what is in the pictures, it should PERSONALLY be left for ej9,ek3 and possibly ek4s.

^^ I have to agree.

As said its all down to opinion and people shouldn't get so bothered by it.

And a small justification to costs, My Opinion (and maybe others) Is that "Track" is not built for the look. Its just how it ends up looking when you build it to use it on a track, Where as stance is purely cost for looks, I see no performance benefits from being really low with stretched tyres and alot of camber. But not everyone is after that sort of performance gain. and to them the visual gain is worth the cost!
This is a big game of personal taste where nobody is right or wrong! (granted some people do modify for the "track look" but never use it on track), which again. is just down to personal taste.

As said, You modify for what YOU want from your car! I share the opinion that those pictures are great, and the cars do look awesome I would change the Stance / Fitment on the wheels etc but that's just personal taste! . but as mentioned earlier I would rather see it on a ej9 etc than something with racing inspired design like a DC2 / EK9 / M3 etc
