Hello,

Can somebody tell me what the ground clearance of an stock EK9 is?

Cheers,
Niels

Mine is sitting at 140mm off the ground at the front and rear of the side skirts after its lowered till 1 finger at front and rear gaurds. I'm guessing around 170mm

I think mine was lowered a bit from the previous owner cuz I've seen EK9s sitting higher than mine, not much though. Strangely, it has no angle, or even if it has its negligilbe because its more lowered at the rear :(

Hi hope these r of some help... :blinx:

[figures represent mm]

i cant even drive over a pack of ciggaretts ;) lowered of course. great info roadhog :nice:

135mm is the lowest part of the car, which is the exhaust i think...

digging from the past. As I am interested in finding out the stock ek9 ride height I came to this piece of information on the site below
CTR specifications - EK9

It mentions that the Tread Front/Rear (mm) is 1480 / 1480
This means that the stock ek9 sits equally in the front and rear axle. From which point is this measured? From the side spoiler?

After looking a the spec images I would take a guess at this measurment being the Width of the Track. So how far apart the wheels are. Never heard of tread measurement.

Could be wrong tho but the top down image measures the width of the floor pan, from inside and thats 1390mm. So add the wheels... Maybe.

so that 135mm is from the ground to the exhaust?

unless ya push a three year old in there i dont think there is any way to measure the ground to exhaust height is there, unless ya have it on a 4 post lift?

As far as i remember i measured 6 inches from ground to the bottom of the front jacking point on mines.. running OEM EK9 suspension

what about the balance between the front and rear axle? Is it the same? At least from the way you look at it?

Any feedback?
Another point in which i would appreciate comments is this. What feeling do you get when you drop the front axle more comparing to the rear? Is it only me that i feel that after a point the front traction worsens? I mean I may get more understeer and lighter steering when the front is much lower to the rear?
