Got the chance of a private reg


Good reg for an EK9. But unless you keep the EK9 you would prob end up letting the reg go with the car or sell it separate.

That's why I did not buy my private reg to be car specific.
 
I wouldn't mind letting it go with the car, it's surprisingly not that expensive and if I get another car I'm planning on keeping my 9 as a toy!
 
It will suit the 9 good. But personally not a fan of priv reg plates.

Mates and I give shitty names for normal regs. Mate's golf is like xxx2NBY or something so I call it nooby or other friend's likes to call nan bread lol. My mum's old swift was sd06mya so Mya it was.

once my 9 is on the road.. I wonder what it will get.. "CLS".. I'm thinking "cliterious" but that's just vulgar
 
sounds like you answered your own question :nice: if its cheap, its gong on a civic type r, and you not bothered about selling with car if it does come to it......

Currently it's 'bdp' so I got big double penetration! Not ideal....
Do you guys think it would be a popular reg to resell if I did have to in a couple of years?

aye I think it should sell fine. The newer honda nutheadz will still buy em. E9 will prob mean nothing to them but will buy it for the CTR. So should go easily for decent coin
 
Private plate would be probably the very last thing on my shopping list. I would only buy one if I had so much money that I would not care, they are a waste of money imho. Unless you think you might get more for it in the future....

This brings a random thought.. See in Hong Kong, there was a private reg with just the number 8 on it. went for loads of $$$$. (Number 8 is meant to be lucky and no 4 the unluckiest) If I was to drive over there, I'd get loads of 4's on my reg plate just to get some clear traffic :)
 
If your considering it man you must want it deep down, as you said its cheap so go for it :nice:
 
i tried getting one very similar to that a few years ago but someone else nabbed it. would be a cool plate. :nice:
