What is the best way to remove the very sticky glue from in behind the doorcards?

1998 Honda Civic EJ9.

Probably best just to put some latex gloves on and wet them a bit and just pull it all off of thats what your wanting to do, then use a tar and glue remover on the wee bits left.

Plastic scraper then "sticky stuff remover" (yes thats the name) or tar and glue as mentioned.

Hate that glue with a passion!

Thanks for the comments eveyone.

Its a nightmare got some on my hands and it was awful hard to get off..

I randomly used pledge furniture polish to get the stuff off and it worked haha but yeah it's nasty stuff!

I've used t.cut before, takes ages though lol

I removed it very successful on both civics with breakes cleaner and a cotton/microfibre towel

That horrible glue holds the plastic weather membrane on. Its like chewing gum. Never found a decent way of removing it

why you want to remove it?:secret:

Have the whole car stripped out as I am going to be using the car for the track so I will have the door cards removed permanently and do not want any annoying glue getting stuck to me..
