GearBox Problem

I wonder if anyone could help me i think i have a problem with my gearbox.
If i change from 2nd to 3rd at high rpm it will grind a bit sometimes is my gearbox going ? Has anyone else come across this?

yup, thats pretty normal, change your fluid to pennzoil syncromesh, that fixed it for me also make sure your throughout bearing is good.

The engine and gearbox in an ek9 are very good the gearboxes some times develope problems like yours which is generally fixed by putting in new syncrhos ,the engine should be fine if it is looked after properly e.g. regular oil+fiter changes ,always check oil levels once a week normally,never try and vtec it from cold (it wont work anyway) or thrash it from cold ,but yea the engines and boxes in ek9's are very good but its a common misconception that there unbreakable because there not
