Gearbox Codes

Arite, was fitting my new coilovers tonight nd stumbled across the fact i dont have LSD, i havent a clue about engines or nothing, this is just what iv been told. When my car is in gear, turn front wheel 1 way the other goes the opposite, but they should b turning the same way???

Think iv been sold a 9 with a new gear box!

But is there anywhere on the net that i can checkout what kind of gearbox iv got using the code thats on it?

There should be a code printed on the front of the gearbox, look to the left of your exhaust manifold over on the gearbox you should see it there. S4C is the gearbox model that came in the EK9

Aye ye iv got the code, i was just needing to find out where i could type the code in to find out whats its from, and it is s4c so must be a dif problem :O cheers tho

will still turn opposite ways as its not a plate type diff and the lsd is not in operation when no load on teh wheels

as olly says its normal, you have nothing to worry about, both my old itr and my ek9 are like this due to the type of diff.
