Hi guys,

Has anyone had any experience/used/using any of the "Gear-X" parts? Whats your opinion on them? Had a search around but can't really find anything on them!

Looking at buying one of there 4.7 final drives, but don't want to buy from an "unknown" manufacture.

Hey there,

Gear-X are based out of Socal and offer a range of final drives/gears for the road-race market, mainly locally and also to NZ (the owner is a Kiwi). They are a good quality product.

There are also other companies that offer final drives as well including ATS, Spoon, OS Giken, Quaife etc if you are looking for a more established company to deal with instead.

If you are after pure strength/durability/quality off-the-shelf though (especially when it comes to putting down over 1000hp at the wheels), there is no substitute for North America's #1 - Just click the link in my signature for more info
