Decisions! So...the Mugen is the quieter of the two m8? You have tried both from new?

no

the mugens secondhand i've only drove about 14 miles with it tho and i think its really quiet. the mid box is twice the size compared to the legalis R

The legalis R is quiet to but i think has a nicer note, it passed the noise test at donington which is strict 98 drive by

i need to go for a proper drive with the mugen to compare

Appreciate the offer Mitch but wouldnt want to keep anybody waiting, my oem exhaust is still in good nick, I want a system but reluctant to fix something that isnt broken.
Looks like my hard earned will be going on a proper brake kit after xmas.

oh right ok i know what you mean

brakes, i've got spoon 4 pots ap dixcel frc plain carbon discs and and ap dixcel z pads with goodridge hose and motul rbf 600 fulid

i find this set up perfect i did cadwell with this set up this year and didnt get one bit of fade or warpage perfect, there is a slight bit of judder on the road as they dont get upto the right temperture. but they still work very good

just thought i'd let you know lol, what set up you thinking about getting?

cheers

Got my eye on a set of Brembo race calipers, no dust seals, a set of discs may last me all year, possibly going through two sets of pads. The main thing is the stopping power, they are significantly better over any road 4 pot set up including the Spoons for only a touch more money, just the arse of having to clean them. Going all out on brakes & handling for next year :nice:
What alloys are you running with that kit m8?

The spoons dont have dust seals either and mine have been ok, and they was on my mates teg for about to years before aswell, but both mine and his cars are not daily drivers.

i only paid £350 for the calipers with spoon disc and pads:D thats why i went for them.

i've got two sets of rota slipsteams one road one track, plus my standard rims

how much is four hundred euros in american dollars? out of curiousity and for future reference. this exhaust looks beautiful, and I'm in need of one.

it works out at $597

cheapest i've seen them new over here in the uk is £993 delivered
