Front End Noises

Been getting noises from the front of my 9 for a little while now, only really occurs over rough uneven surfaces. It sounds like a metallic rattling is the only way to describe it. Had my front drop links replaced as this is one of the most common faults i hear about but its still occuring. Im also getting my ball joints done soon with track rod ends as their is a little play in them, woundering if anyone else has had this problem? Maybe you can suggest anything else thats worth replacing?

Metallic rattling could be the heatshields on the exhaust. It was on mine, the mounts had corroded and they were only being held on by one or two bolts.

Alrite mate, I would say if you change the ball joint-track rod ends-drop links your car should be solid at the front and no noises

If its a tinny rattly noise then I doubt its suspension related - mroe like something loose as mentioned above. If its more of a knock then id say balljoints are a good candidate.
