Forza 3 Cars

add me CALLUMCAT mk2
number 409 in the world in drifting any class out of over 3million people
got over 100mil so if you need some credits add me
or can teach you how to drift

I need to get my XBL membership re-activated and come hand some whoopass out.

Not really, I'm **** slow, but it'll be nice to race with people on Hondas instead of leaderboard cars.

Managed a 1.00.02 in my DC2 Teg on Tsukuba if I remember rightly I'll check tonight :)

Lol I really need to get back in the Grip groove. Could only manage a 1:01.5xx lol

On another note I managed to get my A-Class 86 to get a tad more Angle and Grip :)

I'm trying to set up my c class Crx/civic and I can't seem to get it set up proper.

I put the camber on the front to -1.5 and rear to -1. And toe out to front 3 and rear 1 I think. The caster I just turned all the way up but I'll have to mess around with that. I softened the front spring rates and hardened the rears by a good bit. I also lowered it to nearly the lowest.

I softened the front arb to 5 and rear to 28 or so. Does this sound about right for a civic/Rex. I can't really get the times lower that 1.02 at tsukba. I bought a tune and managed to get a 1.00.8 in the Crx but I wanna try tune my own car

Any help?

Just been having a little sprint battle with a friend tonight, challenge is Fuji Kaido old downhill, Class C. My best so far is 3:51:431, anyone else fancy a go?

No Expert but...

Camber sounds about right, what I usually do is watch the Telemetry and make sure that the Tire Heat is even across the whole tire. 2 Laps depending on the length of the course should be enough to get Temp readings. If the Inside of the tire is too hot then reduce camber and vice versa. In a straight line my temps usually don't vary more than 10* per section (Inside, Middle & Outside)

As for your springs and sway bars try reverse that and make the Front Stiffer and the Rear Softer.

Also try square out the Toe and try that first. I usually have no more than .2* of out in the front. Rear always gets Toe in for me.

also raise the front ride height a bit, i also found that reduces understeer a bit.

Messing around in Career last night did the D Class Fujimi Super Lap. Ran a 8.51.591
No bad. Hit the wall once though so wasn't a clean run.

Whoa nelly, what car was that in? I've managed a 3.50 something in a DC2, the 3.51 was in an R32 GTR.

I used to do this, but I found it is throwing a away grip in the corners. Although you are averaging the tyre out well over a lap, keep an eye on how quickly that outside edge heats up in a corner. I run ~2.5°F/2°R on most cars and live with the tyre heating the inside down the straights. If it is a particularly straights orientated track then this can be reduced. With ABS switched off I am not losing anything under braking doing this. ABS might not like it though.

I will give it a go.

I guess no one plays anymore :p

Every night pretty much when the missus goes to bed, I'm just too stingy to pay for the XBLG membership now.

My DC2:
Tyres 28/32
Camber 2.5/2
Toe +.2/+.1
Castor 2.3
ARBs 20/20
Springs 600/725
Bump 6/8
Rebound 8/10
Brake 40% front
Force 200%
LSD 30%
Aero front full, stock rear spoiler.

Wow. That's a Rear bias setup if I ever seen one? What's your tire setup? I usually don't go more that 1-2kg higher in the rear if its on a low speed fast rotating setup. I mostly do setups with the rear 1-2 sometimes 3kg lower in the rear for high speed stability. Then again I run no aero.

Maybe ill give your setup a try.

That 3:44 run was in my C Class EM1.
Funny thing it only puts out 202whp lol. A lot of guys call BS when I say that.

And yeah I see what your saying about the outside. I usually do .2* more after I get that even tire temp camber setting.

On the contrary, that is actually the same 'balance' as the stock ITR, in terms of load transfer. How bloody sad am I that I work that out eh? :D Tyres I think are 215/17 and 205/17 race spec, not 100% on that though. Front is definately one step up from the front. It might not be the fastest setup but it's the fastest for the way I drive it. Not finished tweaking it yet though.

It's also got the race gearbox with some short ratios topping out at about 150mph.
Fully lightened.
Caged
About 250bhp 160lbft

Nice! Well I shouldn't be outpowered in teh DC2 then, I'll just have to learn the lines a bit better!
