Arite guys, just wandering how hard is it to fit coilovers?
Im getting a homer done on mine, but hes no mechanic, but has done alot of work to cars, but i dont know if hes done any coilovers before haha (risky)
Im fitting d2s just purely for show purposes, i dont drive my car that often.

What are the common things to watch out for/do when fitting them?

Cheers

only things really to watch out for are seized bolts, best to soak the bolts in wd40 or penetrating oil a couple days before to let it soak in. ones that usually are a pain are the ones on the front shock fork that clamp the fork round the shock and also the bolts that hold the rear shocks to the LCA's

pretty straight forward to do though, just be sure to get your alignment chacked after :nice:

Heres a tip, when it comes to taking off the rear LCA bolt. Tighten the bolt slightly so it frees, then loosen it like you would. This should prevent the LCA bolt from snapping.

40mins work...iv done it so many times i could do it in my sleep now..copper grease all the bolts before they go back in they'll never get stuck again.
