Got a set of rigid collars for the sub frame to fit before I get the alignment done next

so I bought one of those diy carbon fibre kits and a metre square of carbon fibre a while ago.
was never sure what i was going to make up, may still do a cooling plate next.

first i decided to use my winglets and canards as a mould.

the resin is quite hard to work with especially with loose strands of fibre floating about

still need to clean them up and the finish isn't the best, might do another layer to get rid of the flex

there's not much fibre in the kit so I'm glad I bought extra.

was this not the 2.2 diesel ek9 at one point? heard it was just a wind up though

Ha ha, yeah was a clever wind up by one of my mates. Got massively out of hand !

lol, im sure there was actually pictures of the engine in the ek9 bay, it was for sale and i was even looking at buying it haha

Yeah my mate is handy with photoshop, had quite a lot of interest in it when the ad was up ha ha

I remember that advert! Looks like you made aone pretty good winglets, do you need to buff, laquer them?
