Exhaust manifold B16

I have a B16A2 in my EJ9

Currently running a Spoon N1 exhaust, EK9 mid pipe and a high flow cat with 2.25 collector, I am still running a OEM B16A2 manifold which I think is a 2.0 collector, I am happy with it at the moment but for looks, I am thinking about getting something like a DC sports manifold in stainless steel, I have found one in 2" collector for £180 but will I notice a big enough difference getting a aftermarket manifold or shall I leave my OEM one in?

that will be the same collector size, some state 2" and others 2.25" but they are the same spec,the next step up is 2.5"

even an oem ek9 manifold will be an upgrade as its 2.5" but you would have to change the cat.
if you want to stay the smaller 2"/2.25" collector then yes go for a dc sports or a comptech manifold if you can find one.

i take it your using a smaller length jdm cat as your running an ek9 mid pipe?

I wouldn't mind a JDM set up but means I got to get a EK9/DC2 cat and then a manifold,

I am running a high flow cat and just cut down the EK9 mid pipe so I can run a OEM manifold with it.

dont get a oem ek9 cat, even though the inlet is 2.5", the outlet is 2.0". Your high flow cat is probally the best mod you done to your exhuast yet.

best mod for money would be an OEM ITR 4-1 mani.

Hello, I thought I might aswel ask whilst we are on this topic will actuli changing to a dc2 manifold give any increase in power hi/low power difference or respond better as the original manifold is ok I think that is if you just going for a small tune up? I own a eg6 and planing on going for a dc2 manifold and cams upgrade with a ecu chip..but is it worth going for the manifold upgrade from the dc2?
