Epic cleaning session and a few warehouse pics...

Looks Stunning. Surprising how much dirt is left in the paint after a good wash! Good ole clay bar! One day ill do mine. Wont come up as well as CSW though :nice:

Pics like this make me regret not buying a CW '9!
Paul it looks nothing less than perfect :D

On a side note... do you work at Eibach? :nice:

great work mate, nice to see some 9's out there are still getting the proper treatment :nice:

great pics as well ;)

Came up very well mate! So you runinng some eibach suspension since working for them?

Any chance you could give me abit more info on the snow foam, I presume you use a lance?

Yep, just a snow foam lance on a Nilfisk pressure washer. Hardest bit is getting the mix right, i've still not worked it out.

Amazing .
My 9 needs this sort of treatment sooo badly, but I'm still confused as to which products/combos work the best:S

Did you polish by hand or use a DA polisher?

The paint doesnt really need any correction, or at lest not obviously. CW seems to hide swirls nicely, this was all by hand.

set of mud flaps will keep it clean longer...

And also make it look gash :nono:

Not yet, just got some front camber arms to replace my buddyclub ones when I get round to it. On buddyclub coilovers at the moment, we dont do any dampers for the '9, so might just replace the gash single spring setup for a nice dual set up and run a tender....but ill probably just leave it as it is, it's not that bad! Spacers are on the way to sort out the stance, wheels are on back to front at the moment untill they turn up as the fronts hit the calipers.

Cheers for the comments guys, the pics dont really do it justice, the paints proper glossy in real life.

You polished by hand and got a finish like that?:wow:
So DA isnt needed on cw paint you think?

So just to quickly recap:
Pre foam
wash
clay
wash
rinse
dry
polish
wax

Did you use any detailing spray in the hard to reach areas i.e. petrol cap also what did you clean the glass with?

Thanks

Yeah thats the order. My paint was pretty mint before, just had loads of tar and crap on it so that's why it was fine by had, using a DA it would be even better but not really worth the outlay for me.

I'm with you dude. Its good to know you can still get a good finish by hand, as I was toying with the idea of buying a DA.

Lastly did you use any detailing spray in the hard to reach areas i.e. petrol cap also what did you clean the glass with?

Sorry man,you asked that before and I completely ignored it...

With the little gaps, what the pressure washer doesn't get I just flatten the clay bar and rub it in there with a bit of detailer. Always wipe in the petrol cap and door and boot shuts when I'm washing it too. Oh and I use auto glym glass polish for the windows, really easy to wipe on and off.

Looks cracking mate, the Volks were an awesome choice! Hopefully catch up with you at a show again this year!

Yeah cheers man, they're pretty tatty so having some new stickers made up and was thinking about having them powder coated black but the whites growing on me now! Cool, I should be getting along to a few shows this year, be good to bump into you again...hows your doing?

I'd go for an antracite grey personally, white would be a pain to keep clean! Mines all good waiting for the better weather to come along and give it its yearly polish!
