EP3 Seats in DC2

HI guys, i got a text today from a mate asking if he would like to swap is seats from his ep3 or my red recaros from my dc2, my recaros are mint and dnt really want to give them up, he said he has seem a dc2 with ep3 seats in before and he sed it looked mint, personally i can't see it looking that good, but i would like to know what you guys think, cheers :nice:
 
thats what i think aswel, but there is a little part of me that says kinda cool :angry: lol
 
ep3 seats are crap! one of the things i hate about the newer type R civic's. dont do it!
 
Dont do it bud , I dont think it would look good at all !!

WTF!? EP3 seats are like a wooden bench! They look and feel that way! DC Recos all the way!
 
There is just no comparison im afraid recaros all the way, why would you even consider it?!?!?
 
because they look good as fa**:p I sold my ek9 seats to put in som red ep3 type r seats(30th annaversity limited model) Ilove them, but they are'nt as "trackday ready" as the ek9 seats. But I hated the ek9 seats. to small for me. If they had been dc2 recaros, never had traded them out.

it looks the same, but they are different in size... Ek9 seats are much thighter!

Have owned 3 different set of dc2 recaros, an one set of ek9 recaros, so I know the difference;)

Are you sure? All the DC2's I have been in feel tight just like my EK9 ones. Also I read somewhere they are the same.
 
ep3 seats are absolutely rubbish, look it aswell. Even the ep3 recaro's are rubbish, they offer feck all support. Dc2 and ek9 seats are identical, only difference is dc2 seats also came in black and yellow. Dc5 seats are the best in my opinion because if you use harnesses the slots stop them digging into your neck, also look slightly better imo.
Also recaro seats are worth at least double the price of the crappy standard ep3 seats so don't do it
 
personally i find the ek9 recaros very tight for my size and as a result very uncomfortable for long distances. if you want to jump in and out easily and you are above the average size then ep3 seats is the way to go.
