Didn't get any pics of it finnished. Needed new batts for the cam. Customer took it away and is most happy with the finished product. Will get a pic of it when he comes back for his free oil change in 3000 Miles.

Nice.

Where are you based...rough price for this work and did you source the B18C?

How much you charge for a swap, plus do you source the engine and bits?

We are based in central scotland. We source all the parts needed. We have several damaged itrs that we have imported direct from japan . Price is depending on how much we get the engines for. Each car is a little differant. Each customer wants things to their taste. You can contact us via pm and we can discuss it further if you want.

This customer we took his b16b as partial payment on the job. This is not always the case but could be an option.

Hi, i'd just like to say thanks to Alan from Accessory Zone for doing a fantastic job on my EK9

I decided to go the B18c route after actually considering a turbo conversion, but basically it was gonna cost far too much to do the job reliably. So i just decided to go for the teg from Alan.

Must admit i was wary about getting the conversion done at first. It wasn't because i didn't trust Alan, it was basically to do with worrying about it all going to plan etc. It was a big thing for me changing engines, specially as mines had been running first class since buying the EK9 last year from type-r-dunk. So after asking Alan numerous questions (just one or two eh Alan? lol) i decided to go for it.

Alan kept me up to date with picture messages off how he was getting on and text messages letting me know what he'd been doing on a daily basis which was very helpfull as it gave me piece off mind!

Anyone looking into getting an engine conversion should get in touch with Alan as i can't recommend him highly enough, great service, and very helpfull along the way. And if your lucky, he might even paint your brake calipers for free along the way :nice:

Once again thanks for the engine conversion Alan, great job done!! And i will see you in 3000 miles time for my oil change, and not before it lol :secret:

Drew :nice:

good review sir
accessory zone is getting busier and busier with conversions and swap

nice ek9 too champ

great! How much of a difference will b18 do in speed? Is it like having a first stage on b16b?

The customer and I took it out for a blast before he left in it. And the pull from it just at low revs was amazing differance. Then as he got on it a little it just takes off. Had a Clio 172 or maybe 182 try to pass us. I say try. Once he put the foot down the stayed way behind. Of course none of this was above the national speed limit LOL.

The performance between the b16b and the b18c is like night and day. B18c is much more responsive in every gear.

I had only drove the car a minute and was still getting use to it when a clio 182 thought he'd try and race me. That was a big mistake, i wasnt even use to the new engine and i blew it away :D

Easilly the best money iv spent in a while :drive:
