Endless Pads?? Daily Drive

Hi they would be fine for every day or spirited driving. I totally killed a set on a track day so if you were going to track it use Ferodo DS2500.
If it is just for road use i wouldnt bother with the endless as they are VERY over priced. Just get a set of Blue Print they will be fine and about as good as OEM Honda ones.
Thanks Dunx

i run Endless CCX all round in my car and it's used daily, awesome pads

didn't stop to well from cold at first but now they're bedded in proper and got 1000 miles on them they are brilliant. but yes very expensive :)

I had spoon pads in they were way over priced and no better than OEM honda pads, now i run ferodo DS2500 's and they are awesome, very good with no fade at all :nice:

Agree with VTEC and Type-R-Dunk have used DS2500 pads a couple of times and they are very good when pushed also work fine when cold.

I run OEM pads on the street. Nissin also has a slightly better compound that's also cheaper too! It is characterized by being silver in color.

IMHO, there's no need to go for a pad any more aggressive than stock... if you need that much braking power on the street, you're going way too fast for your own good! :p

I agree, just get some standard pads.

Go down the pub with all the £ you would have saved :nice:

hawk seem good for the price..not tried them but been recommended by some guys on here.

i dont think the standard brakes are that great myself so will be going for hawk when they need replacing.

if you're thinking of picking up cleaning brake dust off your wheels on a weekly basis as a new hobby, then by all means, get the Hawk HPS for daily use.

Another good option that others have considered is EBC - as they have reformulated their entire line and are living up to their modest marketing claims.

i have nothing but bad experiences with ebc pads, i had green stuff on my corrado, complained and teh y gave me a full set of red stuff pads for free but tehy were rubbish also,, although i have heard a couple good things about the yellows,, think i am going to run Dixel z compound on my EK9

i've run dixcel Z pads and they are great, really good stopping power but they gave off the most horrendous suity black dust....

thats why i changed to Endless when i got my Spoon calipers, easily as good as the Dixcel if not better, but give off alot less dust which was good for me as the Spoon calipers don't have dust seals

Had greens and took them off after 3 weeks... rubbish :(

The vttr's I have give off an awful amount of dust. Thats one of the resons I want to change them!

DS2500 are dusty too :p

They're good pads but too dusty for me. I'm going back to OE pads next time as they're perfectly fine for what I use the car for (road use with the odd trackday).

uses OEM pads are both conveniant, nice and cheap, although if your seeking more hard braking power, choose endless CCX or CCA, both are good and the fading realli depends on how you uses your brake...ppl can saves their slick tyre more from proper driving on track, same theory.

was out for a 50 mile country road blast last night, really got the brakes HOT but no fade at all with the CCX, those pads with my Spoon calipers are just silly powerful

at numerous points when i used the brakes i was sliding forward on my seat they had soooo much power
