sorry for the thread jack but whats the biggest tires you can run on 16 * 7 wheels? 195 45 16 or 205 40 16 or. . . . . .

not too sure if 205's will rub

You could run 225's on 16x7, but you would have to modify the fender wells to make them fit. 205/45/16 would fit perfectly.

By the way, 16" wheels look the best on an EK chassis. They have their place on certain forms of racing as well, but I prefer the 15x7 wheels for most applications.

Personally, 16" is the MAX i'd Go.

Also depends on the colour. If it was White, I'd stick to 15", if it was darker in colour, I'd go 16"

EK9 does have some nice curves on certain angles etc, and should think carefully about the wheels you decide on, as it could rub away the looks and make your wheels the only thing to notice.

ITR wheels are nice, but they don't feel like they belong on the EK9. It's like putting EK9 wheels on an ITR.

These are the Curves I'm talking about. hmm, I wouldn't mind painting my ek9 wheels black with red strip though.

i think more than 16" isn't nessecery you will lose in acceleration
and your rims will be heavier

he is after jdm 96 spec rims, so he will need the hubs brakes etc,and they have bigger brakes than a vti......
