For sale: 1998 Ek9 Type R with a B18CR conversion.

Item Condition:
Very very good. Few stone chips on front bumper....

Price and price conditions: £6400 ONO

Extra Info:Very genuine sale due to just wanting something newer and a completely different style of car. Ive loved and cherished this car for just over 2 years now and has been my pride and joy. Most of the interior is in. I have all the interior including the the A/C which the buyer will get and is easy to refit. The car will also come with the EK9 OEM alloys with the sale. Without question this car has had very regular oil changes and has been maintained very well.

The spec as follows is:

Millage on chassis: 72,000 Miles
Millage on B18CR engine: Circa 46,000 Miles
TAX: 3-4 months
MOT: 6 months

Modifications:

B18CR engine conversion. This is from the 98 spec JDM Integra type R. The most powerful B series engine ever made. Its still using the B16B gearbox with 4.4 final drive.

OEM DC2 Air box
76mm cold air feed with trumpet
Apexi exhaust system
Custom exhaust manifold made by IMPORT STUNG.
Resonated Decat

Blue NGK ignition leads
Black Samco coolant hoses
Short shifter

Chassis:
Spoon Front strut brace
Uprated rear STR LCA'S
60A Innovative Engine mounts
Red stuff pads
Braided brake lines
Racing Motul 600 brake fluid

Body:
Spoon carbon fiber rear spoiler.
Spoon style carbon mirrors
ENkies on rear, Gab sports on front Resprayed in gloss black.
Using Handkook RS2 tires

Interior:
JVC headunit
Pioneer front speaker
JCS rear 6X9 in original location hidden
OMP swede steering wheel
X1 fitted OMP 3Inch 4 point harness(I will give the buyer the other one and with the original seat belt)
DC2 seat rails(27mm lower then OEM) Lovely seating position.

There may be more mods but thats the main jist of it.

The car was dynod with the new engine @ TDI and produced 176WHP( at the wheel) and 125lbs TORQUE(at the wheels). This was also dynod at Surrey rolling road center as a honda meet and made more power then all the B18C's and came just off some with cams etc so a very nice healthy engine. My best quarter mile time in this is a 13.7 @101MPH so a very fast and capable car with great response from the light chassis. Handling is second to none, its truly amazing.

BAD BITS:
Front bumper has a good few stone chips but really not all visible from a small distance and only going very close they appear.
Drivers seat bolster is ripped, but really is not major. Hasnt bothered me the past year.
Exhaust manifold is blowing a bit and has been the past 6 months or so and hasnt caused me any trouble....

Thanks buddy.

I can say the soul reason for sale is that i have a 2.0liter turbo starlet and its waiting on a drag spec engine build 550WHP. And at the moment its not running doing nothing so im forced to sell my 9 :(

I cannot physically afford to keep both otherwise believe you me i would keep it.

This is a very unfortunate sale for me.

Best of luck with the sale Dan and dont be a stranger, if your building a 550 whp beast then let us see it once in a while :)

MAX! Hows it going mate?

Long time no speak! Ive not been on for a while i know, Ive been building the other car the last few months, rarely driving my 9 etc. If there was a way i could keep the 9 i would.

And thanks for the comment max, appreciate it.

Nearly 19 with 2 year ncb but still will be pricey my mates think I'm very capable of a quicker car after my nurburgring laps

If your responsible and that then you shouldnt have problem.

Well you know where i am dude.... My friend has been trying to get loans out for 2 moths now to buy this car but i now need to start getting interest elsewhere. I cant wait for him forever.

Waiting around sounds like a common problem with girls lol. Yeah I'm responsible in the right places but insurance don't know that so they will think the worst of it. Bring on may 2011 when I can afford hopefully
