EK9 [Replica] Project

nice car, did you paint it from silver to white, if yes why did you keep the DX on the back, im just wondering, keep up the good work :)

nice job man, but if your going for accuracy, you gotta get the 96-98 (pre face lift) front lip.

This is a Civic CX. I just kept badges to make it look original stock. Yes, I did paint the car Silver to White cuz I am trying to make a Civic Type R replica.

This front lip is for facelift EKs! Think about EK9 rear spoiler and suspension ;)

My car is lowered on Skunk2 coilovers. I didn't want to lower the car a lot cuz I don't want to scratch the car on speed bumps and uneven ground. I paid $2000 on the paint job so yeah, it's valuable to me. LOL

My brother gave me the car when it was silver with this front lip. He told me he regrets getting the proper 96 CTR front lip. It looks good right now, so I'm gonna keep it for a little longer but I am DEFINITELY going to get the proper 96 front lip in the future cuz I am making a CTR replica.

Many of u guys recommended me getting the Civic Type R wing. I got the authentic CTR wing yesterday. I also got side markers for my car about 3-4 weeks ago. This car is looking more and more like the Civic Type R now! =)

Not to hate, but I think your sidemarkers are too high. My friends make fun of me for noticing this, so I'm sorry. People keep posting threads on DIY sidemarker cutout directions and they always seem to put it a tad bit too high. I did some research back then and noticed that it's slightly lower than that imaginary line or print out diagram they tell you to use.

Anyways, that's just me.

Thanks for the notice. I can't changed anything. I spent about 6 hours trying to put the side markers on as perfectly as I can. Yes, I did use a DIY tutorial of EK side markers installation on the web and the measurements they gave me was way too high. So I adjusted the height the best I could by myself by looking at real CTR pix. But overall, I don't mind at all, cuz to me it looks the same. Ur probably right cuz u know about side markers than me so yeah. Thanks for the notice tho.
