EK9 Racecar

Not much to report really, haven't been able to take her out for the first drive yet due to the crap weather and dark nights.
If it drys up later I'll do the front wheel alignment and take her round the block.

Had my oil arrive, last delivery at my current work. Start my new job on Monday :))

First drive tonight! Was ace!!!!!
Boost noise's :alone:
All went well really nothing to report, only thing is when it's first started it won't idle straight away and there is a small missfire.
But once a little bit of heat into it all is ok.
Will do some logs and a compression test tomorrow.

Best not mention to your customers that you have a honda civic with more power than their porsche lol

Haha yeh! Meh it's ok but my 98 civic would eat your 911

Nice one dude and good luck!
My mate who I had a play with at Donington in the Exige has just bought a 911 Turbo S! Bought it because I was faster than him.....can't wait to smoke that:troll:.

Ive tailed a 2015 911 turbo s at 1 bar. Youll walk him lol

Took her into work today, it drove nice on the way in.
My cold start misfire has got better on its own, seems to have settled down a bit.

I did a compression test once I got to work, all 4 cylinders were 175psi WOT warm engine. Seems good to me for a low comp engine and all nice and even.

Buttoned up a few little jobs like a Shultz touch up underneath, welded my exhaust reducer, and general check over. Oh and did the tracking as it was miles out from doing the manual rack conversion.
I think I need to loosen the pinion tension as it's a little bit tight.

Got just over 40 miles on the engine now and all seems good.

Haven't updated for a couple of weeks now, so it's time for an update!
New job is going very well! Learning allot and customer wise it's another world!

Ek9 is coming along well now, done about 90miles on the engine now and no problems.
Idle issue on start up is sorted now thanks to Jesse. After doing a few data logs we sorted the problem, was just a tad rich on start up.

Picked up a couple of bits from @Biscuit!
Love the wheel and the carbing strut brace.

I didn't like the feel of my old wheel, this momo is lovely! Thanks man!

Also got some exhaust parts sorted, a chap at my work used to be into jdm cars, and had 4 3" systems in his dads barn. So I've got the lot for £60! Bargain!
So plan is to make 1 system out of the 4,
Saves a lot of money and #builtathome

So after my drive today I actually caught the exhaust on a bump lol which started to take the system off.
So thought I'd get cracking!

My 2.5 inch system will be for sale, it's a jasma fujitsubo that has a modified exit that allows a skunk2 baffle to be put in.

I need to give it a good clean before I post it for sale.

I also couldn't stand the wing seat! Didn't like the lack of visibility, so that will also be for sale.

My new collection of 3" pipe and silencers.
Let's see what I can make out of this!

Thanks man! It looks better with the carbon plug cover on too.
But pointless putting it on ATM.

You should be proud too! It's your map running the car mate! :))
