Thanks mate, yeh it's going to be interesting! Not sure on power really, I haven't sleeved the block and I'm not running a block guard so it won't be high figures. I'm going to have2- 3 different boost settings.

Thanks to Nigel at Dobies for welding my breather unions on the rocker cover today.

And also I've decided to use my standard b16b intake manifold and throttle body. I was having problems with the 70mm sticking.

So giving the old units a refresh.

Reminds me of when I was painting everything for my engine swap! Good work, fresh engine in a fresh engine bay is amazing :)

Makes sense to paint it all whilst it's out. Looking forward to it being fresh

Got the clear coat on, really happy with how it's turned out. Although I will have to do some blending in.
Got the championship racing beige tan line...

That's looking good! . I'll be asking you some questions when I come round to doing mine! :))

Probably too late but if you paint it up to the back of the shock tower you don't need to do any blending, that's what we did and you can't tell. On my phone so the pic probably won't link properly :/

Ah yes I see! As you can tell I'm no bodywork expert lol.
I'll try and blend it in, thanks for the picture :nice: it worked.

Thought I'd have a mock up of the rad set up.
Came up with this, may change but it looks like I can use this setup as the oil cooler pipe work will have lots of room in front or the rad, and the intercooler Will mount nicely with 4 brackets, 2 on the bottom pannel and 2 on the crash bar.

I've seen that a lot of people cut away at the crash bar, may have to do this yet but I think I can get away with it as it is.

Love these pictures! Getting exciting!

Same size oil cooler as mine, works a treat on track! At Cadwell a couple of weeks ago ambient temp was around 28c, oil didn't get above 115c, even after 20 min on track, well worth going for the big boy in my opinion.

Go big or go home, that's what I thought. :nice:

Got some more parts today, some breather pipes, dash surround for 2 gauges and a surprise item which I'll take some pictures of soon.
Go big or go home!

Rocker cover is coming along.

Going for NH-O, not sure on lettering colour yet. This is the first coat.

Boost gauge

Water temp gauge that matches my oil pressure and temp gauge's

Mocking up the injector set up.
To get the bottom seals to fit nicely, I've used the original seals, and the spacer that comes with the injectors.

This does mean that they sit a tad further back than stock in comparison.
Does anyone know if this is a no no?

I can get them to sit the same as the originals but I don't think they'll seal.

I'll have to space the rail upwards a tad anyway.

Feedback on the injector spacing would be appreciated.

And this is the teaser.....

It won't be to everyone's taste, but I think it's cool as ****.
Think it will suit my plans.

Wing mounts?
I'm not too sure on the injector thing either tbh. I'll have a look at mine later today for you but they are ID not grams.

Maybe.....;)
That would be cool if you could, I thought as long as it doesn't affect the spray going into the port it will be fine.
