Will a ek9 cat back apeix system fit a ek4 SiR?? Will it match the bolt holes on the cat??

the exhaust fits, the cat is the only thing that may be an issue, you may need a JDM test pipe/header, can anybody confirm this?

arite mate . the only diff between the ek9 and ek4 exhausts is u have to fit the jdm cat to your ek4 as it is shorter and the centre section is longer . but if i remeber u said its an sir which is jdm anyway so it will bolt straight on and bolt holes are the same . hope thats of use to u .

yep shes a jap import alright... so thats cleared that up anyone know much about apexi systems hahaha...

Correct.

I used a toyota 4runner exhaust tube as a cat delete for my dc2 lol, 2.5" and the flange fits perfectly to the header!

u might have to get a 2.5 inch de cat as the cats on the sir's are only 2.25, also watch out for fake apexi exhaust's as my mate nearly got stung by one.

the back box should be stainless steel and the b pipe should be darker mild steel. the mild steel has a tendancey to rust.

altho the sir is an import im not sure it has the same cat as the ek9. think it could be the same as the ek4 that is why it is a 2.25 mite be wrong tho but iv got that feeling. will have a look at my work tomorrow. if it is the same as an ek4 all you need is the shorter de cat i run an ek9 exhaust on my ek4. good luck

the sir has a 400mm cat the ek9 has a 300mm cat ul need the ek9 cat...thats goin by an eg sir but the exhaust systems on both eg an ek are the same

My car is a Ek4 SiR

And the spoon b-pipe (EK9) fits perfectly onto my cat and lines up with my twinloop perfect too!

You should be fine with your Ek9 catback on you SiR!
:nice:

Will fit just fine. Only problem could be cat but as said above since yours is a JDM sir you should be fine.
