Hey everyone - the caps on the top of my battery are knackered - doesn anyone know if these can be replaced? if not - suggestions for replacements for batteries please as i think ek9 ones are discontinued

ideally wud want spoon 1 but sooo expensive unless anyone knows any good discounts

i believe DC2 battery should be same or S2000 also, can anybody please confirm?

you can also run aftermarket batteries such as PC680 to save some weight :nice:

Can anyone please confirm whether a dc2, jazz or s2000 wil def work?

DC2 works... depending on where you live and your climate. Consider Odyssey lightweight batteries.

It's a great place to save a lot of weight.

If your willing to spend $350 for a 7kg battery then I'll second that...

If YOU'RE...as in YOU ARE ...yes spelling police to start.

Where do you get an Odyssey PC680 for $350.00?

eBay Motors: Odyssey PC680 AGM Battery (item 380053329128 end time Aug-14-08 07:23:45 PDT)

Yeah...shipping must be like $235.00 if you needed it yesterday or something.

Yes thats right... $350 AUD at the local shops...I saw it last week, held it in my hands and had a good look at it... they have RENT to pay you know... ;)

Why would I make up **** for that?

just because it costs $350.00 at your local shop doesn't mean you'll be buying it there will you?

it's like shopping for anything else....

I asked simply where you would get it for $350.00 - and showed another source where it could be had for much cheaper even with shipping, customs and whatever other taxes one might incur.

heya thanks for the advice but anyone know anywhere in the UK to get a good lightweight battery or other solutions?

you can get a direct fit Yellow Top Optima battery. Not sure of the price in the USA though but I know they make them.

I got my last battery from Central Tyres, took them a few days to get it in.
