Hey guys,
Not much of a newbie to be exact .... I had a SuperSonic Blue EJ9 to start off with. Was pretty good car for a 1.4 nothing to complain about whatsoever but now its time to move on to the "bigger" stuff ... compared to this forum not too big but im still 18 =p

I bought quite a rare breed of civics.
The 1997 EK4 Honda Civic 1.6Vtec VTi-S :)
Haven't seen many of these around .... but it's something that makes it a little more special than just a normal civic :)

Gonna treasure her!!!! Every cent I make in the next couple of years to come are all on this babe :)
At the moment she's running on the Original VTi-s rims, which are really really rare and not too shabby looking!
As far as engine mods go .... bumped in an AEM Air Intake and she has an Air Intake manifold too ... not sure which brand or how to check but it's there :p
Nice Tanabe Strut Bar for the front and a really really loud exhaust pipe that came with it. Dunno how to check the make or model of the exhaust... if anyone can help please let me know :) It's really loud to begin with ... don't know how it passed the MOT O:) haha but still I have to get a street legal one before the cops pull me over for deafining the public :p
Vtec kicks in pretty hard!! And also hits everyone's ears too when I pass 5,800 the people on the streets just turn in fear!! xD

I'll put some pics on just as soon as I give her a wash and clean up the baby :) ... She has a bit of rust at the bottom of the door but thats pretty much it ^^ Should get it looked at as soon as my paycheck comes in.

She came with all the original stuff like ... VTi-s semi bucket seats, Vti-s floor mats and front, rear and side skirts :) Which obviously need to be changed since the previous owner didn't take care of the holes much =@

Bad points:
Light inside the car doesn't switch on. I've changed the bulb but still nothing.
Revs get kind of stuck between 2,000 and 3,000 revs. Have to get that checked out.
And today was revving her quite high and the Engine Check Light came on.
Handbrake isn't holding right =S Have to put it in gear to hold on hills and straight surfaces just in case!
Also I'm pretty sure she's on coilovers cus my previous EJ has lowering springs and this one has like springs and are attached to some sort of adjuster :) so have to get that checked too! She's riding really stiff atm especially on the holes in the road!

Anyone can help me out with the above problems it would be really helpful!!

Thanks a lot guys,
Pictures up soon :)
Jerry.

Hehe thanks guys ... I'll give her a wash this weekend and get the camera out ;)
Can't wait ^.^

Here she blows!!!! :) :)
Still with the English plates but F*ck it I have to get some pics on it anyway =D =D

She currently sits on normal lowering springs, don't ask me what brand they are =p
AEM Long Arm Air Intake with Intake Manifold :)
EK4 Original Wheels ( They're cool cus they're old school!! )
Purple TEGIWA Lugs ( Not in pic )
and a Tanabe Strut Bar :)

I'll take some pics of the engine bay which is in quite a good shape for a 1997 Civic.
Has 85,000 miles which ain't too bad either :D

Also guys ... I have the Purple Tegiwa Lugs and I was seeing what to do with the rims.
Should I spray them black and put some purple line on the edge? Or shall I make them white with a purple lip? Or any other suggestions ... i'm open to any comments =)

Thanks for viewing guys :D
Jerry.

Looks like a regular VTi to me, where's the 6 spoke speedlines and mid spoiler?

Would be worth checking out tbh

Still a nice car though! :nice:

I think they listed lots towards the end as VTI-S. My old one used to come up as one.

I'm sure all the original VTI-S we're pirates black, 500 made.

I'm not 100% on this though!

Looks a quality car bud!! :D Bet your well happy.

Dan
