ek4 rear 242>260mm options/Braided line fitment.

Hello,

I have done my fair share of searching but I have got no where, Hence why I started up a direct thread of my own.

1) I would like to upgrade the rears from 242mm to 260mm. I just want to clarify my options for this set up.....??

Am I right in thinking that I can run my existing ek4 rear calipers with 260mm discs, with ek9, dc2, mb6 carriers????

If so then I could purchase 260mm rear discs and run them with my calipers and larger carriers, which would prove a cheap soultion?

2) When fitting my brakes...I will fit braided lines (ALL ROUND), however will civic ek4 braided lines fit with the MG calipers??? more specifically in terms of fixings?


Any more solutions to rear set ups..I would love to hear them!

1) No, you need the full MG setup
2) Yes the lines are interchangeable
 
That's kit I used also,least you know the calipers are new etc.
Seems to have went up in price slightly thou since I bought it.

Yes that exact kit,ask him to give you the better discs as he has few different blank discs.
Working perfect since I fitted it and showed good results at mot centre on the computer.
 
Seems this kit is slightly cheaper if you go direct to their website jrt-automotive.co.uk
