Awryt guys,

listen i need some help here, am 17 and dying for a civic! Realli looking out for an EJ9? if anyone could help me out please message me or something? would be really appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction. :)

Joe.

cheers mate, btw am TinoMc's pal :p the one that met up with ye in town like last month lol :L

Welcome to the forums mate, took me about 2 months of good searching to find my EJ9, I eventually got mine on Gumtree, as Gav said - Autotrader,Gumtree,Pistonheads and of course always check here in case one of the lads is selling one :)

Good Luck with the search mate

thanx for the welcomes lads. and cheers or the wee snippets of advice :p basically i am a dumb-**** and didnt really think about some of the places you have mentioned lol! :L

i would start by telling everybody what is your budget and go from there

ehhh.. probably bout three to four grand :/ bit less if a can obviously.

Is that for insurance as well? because with that amount of money can get you way more then a ej9!
Unless you wanna buy mine for £3000? lol

lol thts not including insurance :p i cant get anything bigger than an EJ9 coz am only 17 and wont get insured on much bigger realli and if i do it wil be pricey as fuk lol

Should be able to pick up a nice ej9 for under £1500....i wouldn't be spending more than that. Check insurance first mate, will still be very high if you are only 17 :nice:

not a bad budget man you'll get a minter of a j9 for 4k !

or get one for 2k and get some sweet bits and a b18 in there ;) although insurance proz wouldnt touch you sadly :((

yeah get one or £1500 and save the rest for mod or just save it and keep saving and in another year or two get a VTI :) or even an ek9 if your really good at saving lol

Why not the newer shape 1.6 VTEC what ever that's called
Much lower insurance group and i'm sure nicer car to drive

i've checked the insurance etc and a cant go any bigger than an EJ9, otherwise they are robbing me :p
with regards to the EK3, its not a bad motor mate, and its considerable, jst need to prioritise. I'll get bak to you though ;)
and thanks for the advice, and tbh Gav... thats not a bad idea at all :p instead of B18 though a would probably get B16 instead, jst coz the insurance will **** me! lol
