eg6 B16A2 No Crank??

My car was running fine, then 10 minutes later, went to start the car....And nothing...? the dashlights sometimes come on when i turn the key, and other times nothing at all. There's also a strange clicking sound comming from behind the dash....?

I've tried to jump start the car but agen..nothing..no crank..?

Can anyone give me any suggestions?

Update, I went to start it this morning before work and it started twice fine:S, so it means the battery could of been flat but a don't understand how? Its a brand new, 3 weeks old Honda oem one, what could be running it down ?
