Edelbrock performer x inlet manifold brand new

Better flow /more air -> more hp. Of course, you should combine several mods. Don't know how to put it in English, but 1+1=3. Synergy etc :p

Are the runners longer or shorter than the stock inlet?

this is one of the determining factors for the type of performance you could get from using this setup...

I just think that the stock b16b one is nice and a good shape and seize. so it just makes me query it.

It's a great performing intake manifold. It's got some quality control issues but it performs very well. And as far as I know 220 is a good price. I think I would have bought it if I had an EK9.

For anyone who has doubts this IS one of the best intake manifolds for mildly built (~220bhp)1.6-1.8 b series engines

Could someone explain to me how this works?

Would I need to buy new gaskets etc.?

Sorry for the stupidity ;)

can anyone tell me if this will fit a b18c? and is there any point of using it with bolt on mods such as AEM v1, Tri Y 4-2-1, de-cat and full exhaust???

Yes, you need gaskets for the throtlebody and for the im/head.

It flows more air into the engine, if you ad the right amout of fuel/ignition to the aditional air, you get more power :p

But i think the best gain´s with this IM would be to get everything tuned in afterwards.

Very fair price btw! :nice:

Good luck selling it...

i have the performer X on my d14 for around 3 years now..No problems at all, great quality, and better performing than a similar skunk manifold.

Is it one for Type R B series or other B series, beccause i have a B16a2 and i would like to know if it's for it or no beccause they are the same for B16a2 and Type r engine.

Thank you
