Hi guys,

What do i need to have to fitt dc5 brembos on the EK9?
Size rim???? Fabrications???? Disks????

Plenty of threads on this. For the money and hassle you will have, not worth it, a good disc/pad combo is just as good. Better to look at a ready made kit, Spoon, Willwood - Freakyparts etc.

x2 something to do with the brembos having a smaller pad surface area

Spoon, Sucks during road racing tends to lock up at times :angry2: Mugen's waste of money just s2k front rotors:blabla: I did alot of re-search before doing the brembo set up just got it in i hear really works well with the k-swap motors so thats what im going to try out but its very possible to do it. If there;s anyone in the Uk that needs rotors pm and i will get you one. Here is mine

So are these discs modified S2000's? And you still kept you're EK9 hubs?

Accord Typer R is a great setup, more than capable of stopping an EK9. Easy to install too

Forget DC5 setup, they wont work unless you have a nice 16" whell with a nice offset.
What you want is the Brembo calipers of a Fiat coupe Turbo.
You can mate these to a DC5 300mm disc with a 25mm spacer and they will fit under standard 15" wheels.

I've had NSX calipers on my old EG6 and currently have ATR twinpots on my EM1. Both have been more than enough to try to launch me through the windscreen when stamping on the anchors.

Both are straight bolt on, no fuss, hoses mate up fine etc. Although you will probably find you need to use a couple of spacers on the ATR ones to accomodate the discs. NSX parts carry NSX prices though....

Oh, you'll also find you have a much wider wheel choice with NSX ones, as most 15"s will clear them. With the ATR set up you'll genereally find a 16" wheel is needed (although there are some 15"s that will clear it.)

NSX = 282mm disc
ATR - 300mm disc

25mm spacers! Whoa!
The Wilwood Midilite kit we do fits under standard 15" wheels.. I have 1 in stock as well :D

I've a set of brembos off a fiat coupe I was going to use if you want to try them...

That's a 305mm disc inside a 15" wheel.

Like the sound of that! But would running 25mm spacer be ok?

And ATR twinpots, Would they fit straight onto EK9 hubs without modification? Do they fit under standard EK9 wheels? Is there anywhere I can look at how to fit ATR discs to EK9 hubs?
