DC2 Progress


Shame your selling mate but needs must. That price is very optimistic by a few thousand but you may find a keen seller? You are touching into k20 money there!
 
Yeah mate i know its high but you cant start low and go up. If it doesn't sell i am really not bothered at all. It may still have a B18C-r in it and not a K but imho the ammount of work and other modifications justfy the price (ish) lol.

I know exactly what your saying, If that was my car I wouldn't be bothered at all if it doesn't sell it looks like you've put some serious hours and money into it and enjoy it! If people had money this would be snapped up.

Hey guys, sorry i have been offline for so damn long. Finally in my new house and setling down to the norm again after many months of slugging it out. DC2 is off the road and just waiting to be stripped down when the garage/workshop has been sorted. I need a damn shed as i dont want to clutter up my workspace with lawn mowers, BBQs, bike etc etc. Got a nice list of parts to aquire over the next few months to get ready for more track time in 2012. Nurburgring in May will kick off the season after a shake down at Oulton a few weeks before. Plans are to strip the DC2 chassis back to nothing and paint all arms and re apply underseal (this time using black hammerite). All arms will be cleaned, polybushed, painted and new ball joints will be pressed. I would like to get all the bolts zinc plated too but we will see :D. Geo arms, new RLCAs, full geo set up, 4 new semi slicks, new O/S front caliper, suaged oil lines, breather set up, oil temp and presure gauges, race cell, full service and i should be ready lol. Would love PCI skirts, carbon splitter and Voltex wing but doubt i have a spare 1k to spend on these :(. Pics to come soon :D.

Oil line failure on the M6 was a big fail. All in all that day left me around £400 out of pocket. Luckily no engine damage as i turned the unit off within milliseconds :D.

stunning dc2, watched some of your trackdays vids makes me regret not taking my civic on the track!
 
absolute stunner, lot of time for the flocked dash! thats what im treating mine too, got them on cars at work, rarely see it on anything else, good taste :)

Right i have been a tad busy... well my wallet has anyways :(. Been tough after buying the new house but i have managed to save up some funds to refresh the dc2 over winter :D.

Only got engine oil, gearbox oil, hammerite and suaged lines to get now. Cant wait to get all the chassis stripped. Arms will be battleship grey and chassis itself will be all black.

The DC2 should be completley mint and ready for 2012 track time :). Really want to get a Contour HD on the go but we will have to see how money is after christmas. CANT WAIT!!
