Dc2-itr forum?!

Every forum is different, every forum has its good and bad points, choose one you like and refrain from using/moaning about the others.

I use all the Honda forums as they all have their uses in one way or another. If a forum is crap then I only use it when I need to, surely thats how it works?

As for the DC2 forum, it may be strict, but I'd prefer that than the utter waffle that gets posted every 3 seconds on various other Honda related forums (and no I dont mean here)

Agree with RVM that if you have a problem with a specific forum, post on that forum and moan about it there

That link you put up for me DID NOT show a 98 spec B pipe diameter so i asked for reassurance.

And i did actually post a thread up on there moaning about the site but guess what!!!

I didnt start this thread to slag the forum off. I just wanted to know if anyone has had the same problems i have. It seems IJWHITEMAN has. I dont want this turning into a slagging match. But unfortunately a well "respected mod" mugen si has turned it nasty by slaggin off matt harvey which is wrong. He has just lost a lot of respect from me and fellow members i can imagine.

I've heard all i needed to now and will be staying away from that forum.

Just a shame i own a teg and cant be apart of the community.

Yeah its a good forum, but is not moderated in the right way in my opinion. Very helpful but the langauge used is well out of order. All that swearing is just to much, the forum needs a swear filter. They are more worried about if you have used the correct format to sell something, then if i told someone to p155 off you fooking cnut!!!!!

You get none of that on the DC2 forum and have found all the moderators to be very good. They have a strict policy which i like....

x2.The way some of the mods and members speak to people (especially noobs) on there is ridiculous at times.
And when anyone does attempt to air their opinions of how they have been treated, the mods simply state that they do not get paid for being mods and imply you should morealess feel privileged to be a part of the furum in their presence......and if you don't like it....don't let the door hit you on the way out...WTF
I personally think the mods on here are more knowlegeable in regards to technical honda info, yet they never abuse their power in anyway at all.They're always happy to help.

I understand DC2-ITR is a strictly moderated forum, but hey it does not cost anything to have manners and respect others.

Well said mate. I just hope Mugen takes it on board to be honest...there has been enough people moan about it now. They just need to be a bit more easy going...everyone starts somewhere dont they so why shoot someone down if they ask a silly question or go deleting threads without telling anyone.

And please mugen si tell me why every time someone or i post on my for sale thread does it get deleted? i need to know for future reference..

totally agree with danny, i registered on there just to see what all the fuss was about, first thread i read which was a topic describing the diff between a 96 & 98 spec teg, which i feel is prob a question on alot of new owners or potential owners minds. The guy was basicly told look in the resource section and stop posting! shocking.. you would never get that on here, ive asked questions on here as im semi new to the honda scene and ive always been given sound advice from very nice people. I dont think its fair for mugen Si to start raving at danny when all he did was ask a question.

I actually answered your question on why i thought your car wasnt selling, another mod/admin deleted the thread, it was out of my hands.

I didnt come on here to have a slagging match, but its only fair that if someone comes on and complains about the forum that someone be allowed to defend it. If thats not the way this forum operates and only one side/opinion is permitted then fine, delete my posts and leave only the OP's

First off, you have no authority here or anywhere else for that matter to tell me wher i can and cannot go!!!
Secondly I have not slagged anyone off! Would you care to point out where i did?? I told him he was being ridiculous refusing to use a forum because so one said hello to him, that is not slagging him off thats telling him to grow up and quit acting like a spoiled child!

Yes it does, read it again! The piping on a JDM b-pipe is 60.5mm, its clearly stated in the thread.

Been on there for a while now, to be honest I've always been more of a searcher than a poster, only once I became a retailer did I get any decent amount of posts really. So I've had no problems. I can see why you would get annoyed but I would really advise you to use the search function a bit more, rarely been a time when I can't find what I'm after on there, and I've needed to know some random things at times haha.

As an observer if I'm 100% honest MugenSi does come accross as a bit crabby at times but to be fair to him, there are a lot of recurring simple questions asked over and over again so I'm sure I'd be the same if I had his job haha.

As for civiclife being awesome, lol. It's a good forum, there are as many people on there with plenty of knowledge and info on the subject but there are thousands more dreamers, especially when you come to sell something. You might moan about bumps etc being deleted on ITR-DC2 but the sheer about of bumps and "**** I'd have this if I had the cash, glwts" faggotry on civiclife is a joke, someone selling an exhaust can be a 3 page thread. Target market I guess.

I haven't spent enough time on this forum to be honest, but the admin and mods were very friendly from the start granting me vendor status etc (which seems to have disappeared for some reason? Back soon hopefully haha)

I'm glad i am not the only one who think's that forum is a complete and utter joke.

I feel for you man, i went mad one day because of it and just created loads of threads on absolute rubbish. Basically ever thread had a word you had to read all the threads to understand what i was saying and just filled there f/s section crap thread! They really annoyed me!
