Dc2-itr forum?!

Hi guys..

Has anyone else here ever experienced problem's with the people on the ITR forum?

I once asked about exhaust pipe sizing and just cos i asked twice my whole thread got deleted and got a load of abuse from one of the main MOD's!

My for sale thread on there is also being messed about with! Everytime i or someone else posts on it the mod's delete and it's left me thinking what the fu**? its so frustrating!

I tried to be part of the ITR community as i own one and never ever have i come accross such an arrogant and un friendly forum in all my life! i even said something of similar nature on the forum which of course got deleted!

Is it is just me or has anyone else had problem's or noticed anything?

Sorry, i just needed to rant cos its winding me up so bad.

This forum is such a more helpfull and friendly forum! which is why i guess i post much more on here :)

I see what you mean though man, its just that its a strictly moderated forum.
Some of the members/mods come across as arrogant and sarcastic at times.Plus newbies seem to always get shot down alot for asking simple questions and not using the search:rolleyes:
I know quite a few people who have simply signed up, but hardly ever post on there:(
It just makes you realise how good ek9.org is in comparison really.....a much friendlier forum:cool:

I am a member, I have no problem with it... Sorry to hear you had a bad experience.
I hope this does not turn into a huge discussion thread.
 
Yes it is strictly moderated forum...specialy about traders or if you just talk in good way about stuff you selling. I think it is ok...it have some level at least.

But i think ek9 is also stricted in some ways...like i need 100 post to be allowed to make some "sell thread" or 25 posts to reply pm...well some people are just readers, so no need to post hount...but never mind :)
 
i only really go on to check the for sale section out

but its layout seems to tech based

there is also no new posts button and there search feature sucks ass

and there trader section is a complete joke

just pages and pages of threads from every trader in the world

not noob friendly though
 
Its's just an annoying as much as it's a shame. Because i own a teg and have a fair bit of knowledge on them and being a part of the ITR community would have been good but when you cant ask some little questions without getting shot down is beyond silly which is why i'll never use it again.

EK9.org is definitely aswesome!

I have never had a problem till the ITR forum. Ah well never mind eh...if they want to be like that then it's their problem not mine.

Oh thank god! i just read what IJWHITEMAN has put. Exactly the same problem i am having! they just delete your posts with no explination as to why?!

I'm glad i am not the only one who think's that forum is a complete and utter joke.

I have heard things about that forum too.
I have only recently signed up too the EK9 forum as i'm looking too buy one and find out simple information, and every one is so helpful on here.
One of the best forums iv'e signed up too, i'm on a few others but barely use them just come on this straight away!
 
ive been on itr for years i think everyone is nice never witnessed any problems with them

There is a new posts button mate...Its at the top right of the home page and titled 'View Posts since last visit'

I'm one of the mods on itr-dc2. Yes its strict but thats because every noob that comes along expects their every question to be answered without looking for any of the information themselves. And yes the search function isn't great but thats because no one uses it and starts threads for every question they can think of, and then when they do use it, it returns hundreds of hits because of what i high lighted above, its a vicious circle.

As for ijwhiteman, he knows why he got banned but he neglected to mention it here, so you only heard one side.

Mugen Si your the one who locked my exhaust piping thread. So i PM'd you and asked why and just got abuse basically. My username on your forum in jdmdanny.

You say you get annoyed at noobs for not trying to find the info them selves but then go onto say that you know the search function is rubbish? i'm not a noob to the Honda scene by any means and got made to feel like a royal prat cos i asked about the exhaust size piping cos i needed to be 100% on it cos some people seem to say different!

And as to why every post i put on my for sale thread gets deleted is really really beyond me and i dont get it.

I don't bother with your forum anymore...and i own a teg!

Better off here!. This is the forum i have shared my entire B20 build with cos i was made to feel welcom. So you can probably gather i'm no noob and would have liked a bit more respect on the ITR forum. never mind
 
bunch of old men that are to grumpy. i also introduced myself and i didnt get a single reply so i thought im not using the forum as its just rude
they are all just ridiculous.

i like the dc2 forum, been on there several years, i understand some people have problems on there though

i just find its one of few forums thats managed to keep lot of crap out of there and not full of heres my new shiny part type threads

Go back and read the thread again, you asked about piping diameter, you were given a link to a thread in which your question was answered. You then asked people to confirm what was said in that thread!!
The thread was locked as the link to the other thread in which the information could be found was within that thread and therefore there was no need to have another thread on the subject.
If you wanted to ask another question you could have done so in the thread which was shown to you, but you decided you wanted preferential treatment, threw your toys ouit of the pram and went off on a strop. Well TBH if your as childish as your making out to be and throwing a tantrum every time you dont get your way, then we dont want you on the ITR forum.

I think this thread can get out of our hands, I think everyone is free to choose which forums to visit.

DC2-ITR forum complaints/discussions don't belong here....
