**D-series question. lol

Right d-series boyo's, Have a D14A4 at the minute and looking into a D16Z6 swap as a step between a b-series.

I have read that I will need an ek3 (d15z6) engine loom, this will be easier than wiring my d14 for vtec etc apparently?

Will the d16z6 swap straight in mechanically?

Wiring, new engine loom in, attach to 16z6, p28 ecu with a conversion harness to run 0bd2a-obd1.

I honestly don't know much, are these along the lines? And what about interior loom etc will it be fine if I use the D15z6 engine loom?

Any help is much appreciated.

If your car is 96-98 model then get a 1.5vtec obd2a loom and a conversion harness as you say to allow you to run the p28 obd1 ecu. You will need to reuse your engine mounts from 1.4 +the cambelt side mount bracket and rear L bracket. I think shift linkage for 1.4 will do for the 1.6 gearbox. You will also need throttle cable off 1.5vtec.
