Alright so currently motor issue isnât solved just yet.
Past few days I took apart the head to replace the VTC cam gear.
Timing chain cover off and pass side mount
Torqued down the cam caps
New VTC gear in place and motor timed
Started the car first time and the Code wasnât there. Second start the code came right back on.
So far what I have tried,
Two different VTC sensors
Two different Vtec solenoids
Two different VTC cam gears
I tried an Oem harness just to see if that would change any thing and it did not.
I burnt out the Map by mistake so I need to get a new one of those then I am going to disable the Vtec oil pressure switch to see if that will make the code go away.
Well picked up some new wheels last week from a friend.
They are not mint but the intention was to refinish them a black but I put them on the car and decided to keep the bronze for a bit
16x7 +43/+50 MF10âs
Got some tires mounted that I picked up as well.
225/45 Dunlop Direzza 02G on the +43
205/50 BridgeStone Potenza RE540s on the +50
Think I have too many wheelsâ¦â¦.
Can see the 225 on the left next to the 205 right
These new tires make the 215 kuhmos look tiny
Mounted them on the car though it is missing body panels right now bc they are at the painters shop.

Also picked up some CTR headlight from a friend.
Donât have city light pig tails though.
Itâs a good thing I got them from him when I did bc he crashed his car a few days later and messed up the headlights.
No ebay lights here
Also got an odyssey PC680 battery and OEM tps sensor from a good friend.
Need to pick up some new battery cable and
Have an RRC crank pulley on the way bc mine has a chunk missing from it.
