hi all!

my names dan and i live in north yorkshire, i ve just sold my throttle bodied series 1 106 rallye to become part of the jap fold :) alot of my mates have nice jap cars so im always around them lol, some include a 380bhp pulsar, 2x dc2 itr, 300bhp starlet gt, del sol sir and swift turbo (nice crowd hey :) )

wanted an ek9 for a long time and my insurance company is now playing nice so im on the hunt for nice cw one :)

pic of my old rallye below for anyone interested, was running 175bhp@flywheel and 141@wheels

rallye012.jpg

hopefully ill have a pic of an ek9 to share with you soon!!

Welcome along...cracking little 106:nice:

Must have been a flyer. My old mk2 16v Golf had Jenvey bodies....192BHP/148lbs/ft (Dyno-Dynamics RR) on DTA management:nice::p

Im sure you wont regret the move to an EK...legendary reliability, very tweakable & that certain bit of Kudos too.

Not looked back since i bought my ITR:bow:

the move has been a long time coming :) cant wait!

rallye was a little beauty, suprised alot of bigger cars including the formentioned starlet turbo and dc2's, was good fun!

hopefully ill have fun in the ek, looks like ill have one just in time for japshow aswell.

it'll be the first time ive gone down in a jap car lol, always been french up till now, i get £5 off my ticket aswell :D

welcome! are those wheels the BBR comps? those damn things sell for like $2200 in USA!!

i was heading back from work after nights the other morning & a S2 106 Rallye came flying up behind me..

Was all stripped out & caged & i suspect running more power. We had a bit of a play as the roads were quiet & I was very impressed with it. Not a lot gets close to the Teg (of similar power/weight/class etc), but the 106 did open my tired eyes in the bends:shocked::D

Not bad in a straight-line either:)

the weight is definatley the suprise in these cars only weighed 850kgs caged aswell :) so was defo nippy, especially with the quaife diff and lower ratio box.

lol typical french car chasing a jap ride, i was a little of the same :)

blinx- the wheels are oz racing magnesium gravel rally wheels, really light and really rare, mostly found on fords, rare in the uk aswell but unfortunatley dont sell for that much :)

welcome man

I have a vts as well

super fun cars

Smart looking 106, good mods too, tasteful! EK9's a logical step in my opinion :)

:welcome: to the site... lovely 106.. i used to have a black xsi with rallye graphics.. miller of a car!!

Hi

Good luck hunting and feel free to ask if you need any buying advise as i have bought and sold a couple.
