Well it seems it's me that this is aimed at for my "what a stupid question post"
The reason why i said that because he is also the guy who started the waste of time thread about him and a corsa VXR and i was a little annoyed by it to say the least..another waste of time thread! So when i see yet another silly question about How long a Honda engine lasts before needing a rebuild also annoyed me! what sort of question is that?!
I apologised on that thread earlier on tonight cos i thought it may have caused offence. People that ask silly questions because THEY DONT search deserve silly replies in SOME circumstances. I only said what i did to him because he has posted some waste of time threads which to me just look like post gatherers!
You might not all agree. But were all close here. Most of us that actually post quite a lot know each other and know how we work and if newbies coming on that don't like it then i'm sorry. You should go try the ITR forum! lol youll get shot down and banned within the first minute!
I'm not condoning what i done, it was out of line and i have already said sorry but at the end of the day i meant nothing by it and wasnt in all fairness that bad.
I'm glad some of the well known people on here agree with me.. (689R and champ white)

Search or Google it first. If you still cant find the answer to your question then its time to make that thread. The problem is, noob makes new thread on a topic that is answered many times already and its annoying to old member that will have to read and reply to a redundant topic.

ANOTHER thing that annoyed me is..
Why do we all buy honda's in the first place?
Because they are fairly fast, easily tunable anddddd RELIABLE.
Someone who's buying an EK9 (the rarest Of the rare) surely should know what they are buying into right?
But instead, posts up about racing little corsa's etc...so straight away i thought "boy racer" with an EK9.
That's why i said on his thread what i did.

awright guys i see i have pissed of so many people with this and i am very very sorry i just diddnt think that it was going to annoy people like it did.Well the lecture has been taken on board and i really dont want anyone thinking of me as a boy racer because im not i did relize they wer quite good engines at lasting but didnt think they were that bullet proof. Im not looking for posts and that is a truthfull answer i joined here to try and get more friends that had same intrest and help when i need it which i have with some posts but just dont want to get on the wrong foot of someone and i can see how youse have all gotten bored with these threads so just a post to say am sorry guys it wont happen again.

No need to say sorry mate! I'm sorry too with what i said. I can imagine i came across a right total prat and newbie hater haha but i'm not like that at all mate so don't fear! This forum is actualy the most welcoming forum i have ever been on but some of us do get annoyed at a few things that we see so often like the EK9 Vs blah blah threads but you werent to know that my friend so no need to say sorry!
Were all here to help and i promise you, you will learn a lot from a lot of people on here, if you ask sensible questions haha joke

Oh and to add one little thing..don't get the wrong impression about these engines being *bullet proof* mate. I usually delete offensive posts, the mods also, but we can't moderate all posts since this is a discussion forum
Keep in mind some users don't know how to search or even search on google, the "problem" now is that the forum is much bigger, and we have users from all around the world joining everyday, and a lot of them don't really know how to use the forum software, so expect to see "stupid" questions often, I don't consider obvious questions stupid, I try to help the user in everything I can, some times users don't want to be helped but thats another story.
My recommendation is that we all have to be patient, I've been in the Honda scene since 2001, and the first time I used a forum was back in 2005, all the people treated me like ****, thats why I decided to create this forum, the purpose of this forum is to help other users and thats why our community grows every day.
What I ask you is to be patient with new members, we all where honda newbies some times in our life, even 9 years later I learn something new here every week! hehehe
Posting comments like "what a stupid thread" and offensive posts like that don't help the forum, as users you can report this posts to me or other mods. And if someone find a thread "stupid" just don't post anything, move on to the other thread

.plenty of real nice helpful people on here everyone was a new comer at some time . and i have learnt more of this site due to the people who have done it or had it done by someone . a sticky on how to use the search properly (even the biggest caveman would understand) would be good . keep up the good work .
