It's me again!

I've got a few questions!
Planning on building an EK9 for srpints and club rallys.
The situation is as follows - since sprints and rallys are pretty hard, I need the most durable suspension setup possible.
I need advice on complete suspension re-build - control arms, lower arm bars, end links, stabilizer bars, strut braces, lower brace kits (wisbones), bushings, reinforcements, ball-bearings, etc.

I need thorough advice on brands and diffirent variations of suspension setups.

PLEASE HELP !!!

im tempted to answer but im gonna leave this one to Dino, his ears should be ringing soon :) but to help us out it would be good if you establish a budget :nice:

I'd be happy to help you with this one, but a few questions first-
What is your budget? With this information we can only recommend what you can afford, but if your doing a complete rebuild it seems like it's a pretty large budget.

And if your building this for sprints and club rallies, what kind of terrain are you talking about? Is this mostly all tarmac, or is there some dirt racing involved?

Also what suspension company offers a "damper rebuild" ? for example in my country, there is none, so if a suspension damper gets blown, we need to buy the whole suspension from the USA.

The budget is big...planning to spend on suspension about 15-20 k$
Terrain is tarmac, gravel during summer and snow and ice during winter.
Planning on buying two sets of dampers - Tein MonoFlex for the summer and Tein HG for the winter.
I want answers considering the stiff elemets -
stabs, arms, arm bars, braces, wishbones, etc...
And as RVM said - if a damper gets blown, I will be stuck with a purchase of a new set :(

oh dino is going to be happy with that budget :D but i dont like the tein idea, you have a lot of better options with that kind of budget.

Read thru my message and figured that I would actually like to fit the tranny mods into that budget as well...
The thing is, I need shocks for two setups - summer and winter. And TEIN seems to offer alright shocks for both. The HG are good for gravel and snow/ice, the MONO FLEX are flexible for gravel and tarmac.
So I figured that it would be alraight with a good tire setup.

With that budget you can use quantum or ohlins, but the issue is that I don't know if they make rally suspensions. My knowledge in suspensions is limited :(

Never heard of such, got a link where i can read bout them?
ohlins, but the issue is that I don't know if they make rally suspensions
They make the bast rally suspension everm except if it breaks, i'd be stuck with spending a really nice sum of money on a new set, with tein, such loss would be more bearable...

quantum is one of the best, setting it to the hardest stiffness and it stil gt pretty gud damping...but the price is...huhu almost 1/4 of a EK over in MAS..

Read it...thanx anyway cuz I lost the link. This one is poor on suspension parts. There is a better one...lemme see...aha... - here

Came to think of a problem...how am I gonna ship it all to Russia...

Is because they haven't added our full range of spherical suspension parts to their website yet ;) We have a lot of Tarmac guys run our parts. PM me if you want more info on those :)

The Proflex coilovers that DMRR sell are one of the best though. Shipping to Russia is no problem at all.

today i was searching the JIC website and learned that they sell each damper individually in the event 1 fails and its not that expensive 260-320 usd for a replacement damper depending on model...

JIC Magic - JIC Suspension Damper

Hmm...that is actually not too expensive!

PEOPLE!
I need info on the strengthening elements!!! GIMME INFO PLEASE!!!
