Hi guys,

Was just wondering if it is safe to use "Castrol 10w40 part synthetic engine oil for petrol and diesel engines" in my EK9, i know a guy who can get me loads very very cheap.

All opinions and views welcome :)

Thanks

Should be fine, I think diesel oil is usually of a higher standard than that of a pretrol engine oil.

It will be fine...Castrol 10w40 part synthetic is what i use:) no problems

Got a bottle of castrol GTX with the same markings waiting to go into mine when the snow clears :)

My B16A2 eat 2 liters of castrol 10w40 in a 6000 km ... now i'm running Eneos 5w40 for 20k km and the issue is gone.

The 10w-40 Castrol will be fine, it is 100% mineral base so a 5w-40 synthetic would be better.

All automitive oils are for petrol and diesel.

Cheers

Guy
