Steven EK9 just admitted to buying an Ebay Bonnet

I dont know what to do...Im so confused :(
 
Don't worry, I gave myself a slap for doing it, got my eyes on more brand whoring which should more than make up for it........

Although the risk paid off, fit is spot on and weighs very little :)

Thats a good price for the Seibon though Ian, most seem to go for £500+ :wow:
 
that is a pretty good price for the seibon . i can vouch for there fit and finish is spot on :p
 
I'll vouch for my seibon bonnet being a very good fit and good finish, I got it off ebay for £350 + £50 delivery just over a year ago
 
Hmmm maybe i'll be going for the seibon then! Just don't want to spend over £350 on a bonnet.....

Don't encourage me!!! It was money for my final drive but i'm put off by that idea at the mo. I'm just thinking £450 is alot for a bonnet when thats 3/4's of a final drive bought and fitted.... But then i'm not keen on that idea until i can try it out. :angry:
 
Here, in all honesty, an OEM EK4/9 bonnet is light as ****. just get one of them for like £20, its negligible how much your gonna save if you buy a CF bonnet. Maybe like 2kg MAX

£350 for <2kg

Unless you doing it for the looks...(Dinnae)

Both weight and looks :p I like the carbon bonnet thang :bow:
 
Weve been through this

Weight - Take a shite before you out in the car, that will save anything from 2-4kg depending what youve eaten

Looks - Get Carbon fibre paint and a roller
