In the next few weeks il be fitting my Dash Motorsports 13 point Cage, will stick pics in here once its fitted

Could be a nice thread this... only Two realistic options I've really seen are a Custom Cages weld in Job or a Cusco Bolt in (with it's various bar and number of point options).

There is a 8 Point OMP cage for sale at the moment

cusco cage looks the dogs! surely the x-bar will have to go if you get this john?

Djdosile, on ITR forum and in the link that Ian posted recently

Cartney, you dont have to remove the xbrace if you dont want, but i had it for like a minute and thought it looked tacky so removed the x brace and Got it to Feck

You sometimes come across 10 point Cusco cages, they have door bars included like IJ Whitemans

Patience...I might stick a couple of it up fitted in the car it came out of actually i have them

It might be then? I was told it was a cusco i got it second hand. I haven't as many bars as you but i'm tempted to get my welding skills out and add some bars and weld my cage into the car.... :nerv:

The only reason i didnt want a weld in cage is because as much as there is an advantage to having the cage welded in chassis stiffness wise is that im too much of a tightt **** and i couldnt sell it again if i needed to

PMSL well thats one way of looking at it!

How would you do it?

Weld in thick plates then weld the cage feet to the plates or something?

John, Chizfab in Dalgety bay will do a full custom weld in cage for around £800 i think man
