Brembos.

Steven, going to start with DS2500 & see how I get on, its still my daily car so didnt want to go too extreme (squeaky brakes etc), Tom reckons there is plenty of clamping force not to worry about it, temps we will see. Weight wise I dont know, forgot to weigh them in my excitement!
Eric, just waiting on ss braided hoses. TGM are looking after my suspension so no problems there, also I am still working on balance, how I like the car to be on track.

I have been running DS2500's for the last 17 months on my TGM Brembo brake set up for my EP3... Have wanted to go to DS3000's but my car is also my daliy drive and don't want extreme wear on the rotors (I'm still on the same disks) :nice:,,, never had any issues with brake fade on DS2500's :)...

I dont have direct contact for the kit builder, you can give TGM a ring, Im sure Tom will help you out :nice:

who are TGM ? from ireland dont know tryed to google them but no luck

what kit did car come off or did you buy iy ready to on a honda cos i have brakes off a DC5 for to try and fit on my EK

TGM 01252 811972 - Tom.
Kit is new and the hardware is made to fit my EK9. Are you looking for a mounting kit for your DC5 brembos?

Car is now back, lines are full stainless, MC will be done after Snetterton. I dont really have any bite til about halfway on the pedal, then it really bites! Had a quick run out the other night - the DS2500's will be ok for the road, but for track I will be using some Hawk race pads, will get some pics at the weekend of my other additions as well, full review to come after the TD :)

Update: Had a used MC go on the car today, from a 45k Teg, pedal is no different. Going to have to get a new one from Honda, everything else is new so it has to be the problem, very frustrating. Hopefully get it sorted before Donny now :((

You you not be better going for a Uprated MC rather than a New Teg one?

Trouble is Jimbob we are not 100% what the exact problem is, Tom has an MC from his old DC2 racecar which he will try on monday before I have to fork out anymore cash. Honda have the part numbers down as the same for EK9 & DC2, but when you compare the two, my EK9 to the DC2 one from Livvy (now on the car) & Toms DC2 one they are different - the holes are not the same.
When ignition is off the pedal is rock solid, then as soon as you start up and try to press again it just gives way.
As for aftermarket if it comes to it I will but Tom has used this kit on his racecar & at least two other customers (Integras), with the oem MC, and just touching the pedal it would throw you through the windscreen.
Time is running out before Donny, I have some race pads to use to get some more bite, trouble is it doesnt come till half way down :((

Anybody got any links to aftermarket EK/DC2 brake MC's?

I believe Tilton and Wilwood both make universal assemblies, I have never seen an aftermarket bolt on application for ek/dc though.
