Because to drive it makes an EK4 feel like a heavy bag of sh!t. light mid engined and performance is similar due to the MR2 having 140bhp. Eventually though, if I had an MR2 it would get the 1.8 190bhp engine from a Celica in the back. Don't get me wrong though, the EK4 is nice to drive and the engine and gearbox are seriously good, much better than the standard MR2 1.8. The issue though is the MR2 drives and feels like 95% of a Lotus Elise and doesn't have far off the performance of one without being unreliable, leaky and generally troublesome. The main problem I have with them is the chintzy looks and the lack of luggage space.

This is my mates old car, been out in this, handles exceptional for a stock car.

Would be nice if your mate responded to my emails regarding parts that should have came with the car as advertised.
