Unfortunately the time has come to sell my EK9. Owned it for around 2years and its been a great car. Super relaible and always puts a smile on my face. Car has always been ran on Shell V-Power.
1997/R Starlight Black. 112,000 miles. Still runs in KM. Still limited. Imported late 2008, i have all import paperwork and old MOT's. Im the 2nd UK owner.
Car currently has no Tax as its been parked up in my garage for the last 6 months but has a Long MOT till next year.
Parts replaced as follows;
-New OEM battery
-Front and rear brake pads
-Front ARB bushes
-Front lower balljoints
-Front stabiliser links
-Front upper suspension arms, bushes and balljoints
-All four wheels hubs/bearings
-Front outer tie rod ends
-NGK plugs & NGK blue performance leads
(All receipts are present)
Others;
-Fuchs ProS oil and Honda filter
-Amsoil MTF transmission fluid
-Coolant Flush
-J's Racing Intake
-Enkei wheels powdercoated CW, balanced and 2 new Uniroyal RS2 tyres fitted on rear.
Engine runs spot on, no smoke on VTEC and pulls very hard on cam. Gearbox has no crunches or funny noises, clutch has no slip. Engine oil changed every 4-5K along with transmission fluid. Car performs very well for a 1.6. Only the ARB links and 2 wheel hubs needed replaced but i decided to get the other parts replaced to freshen things up. Car handles really well. Cars never been on track and has been looked after very well. Always ran on Shell V-Power & top quality fluids. Reason for sale is i have bought another car so dont have use for 2 cars.
The Rear bumper has some paint cracks on the left corner and the front driverside wing has a small dent. Would cost around £150-200 to have painted but never got round to it.
I'm going to put the car up on PH for £4000 but have decided to put it up on EK9.org for £3800 in the hope an enthusiast will buy her. I think the cars priced very well.

.. Makes sense in stead of plowing money into my EK4..
