I'm thinking about either putting a bigger block on my b18c head or boring out the b18c block and putting bigger pistons in.
Which is the better option and why, and what larger block could I put on my b18c?
Cheers

A b20 block will work with a conversion kit but its not the best way of doing it tbh.
Best bet is to sleeve your block and have a crankshaft with a larger stroke.
Shouldnt be too difficult to get 2.1-2.2L then but it will be super expensive.

Ahh okay what do you mean by sleeve?
And if I were to put a b20 block on what would I need to do to it to work with the vtec head?

Sleeving a block is replacing your cylinders with stronger ones that you can bore out wider. Rough prices to sleeve a block is about 1500.
Im not sure what is needed to make a b20 vtec but im sure theres a kit for it.

mainly to use a B20 bottom you have to:
- use a B18C oil pump
- give oil to the head to make vtec working (conversion kits exist as jesse said and they even include the good HG)
- at least change pistons to avoid pistons to valve contact (different diameter valves on B20 head compared to B16 / B18)
- Maybe change rods depending on what are your goals

Ahh okay cheers guys, any idea on the best pistons to get if I were to go with a b20 block and b18c head?

I have a 89mm (2.0 litre) crank that Tegs could possibly use to stroke his b18c

Oh awesome how much would you let that go for? And what pistons could I run with it?
Thinking if I were to sleeve the block it would be to 84mm, but not sure.
Ideas?

The stock honda cylinder sleeves are weak above about 400hp, some have gone over that though. One i know of had 550ish hp for a good while.

In an na application your using an aftermarket sleeve to make use of a wider bore, meaning larger cc engine.
