I have a question, when do you think that a B16B will need a integra radiator? a friend of mine is selling me one for 260 $ aluminium one, :blabla: i use my car only for track, and i'm planning on running at a big circuit soon.

I have a spoon thermo switch right now, I've never had heat problems.

Should i buy it, or not ? what do you think ? :wow:

The question is, when do you think you will need a big radiator or integra radiator for the b16b engine?

thanks for your help :woot:

Big radiator = cool down better = better for the motor:bow:
IMO I will get it if the price is not to bad

260 $ for one? what do you think? :woot:

$260? what brand is it? you dont have to go fullsize, you can just get a 2.5" half size, thats what most people do including myself. i guess a full size is nice though if you have the space for it :nice:

do you have water temp gauges? i run my car hard sometimes and i never go over 210 degrees F, and thats with the stock ej rad!!

You should run your car at that big track and see how the water temp. goes. If its just a little hotter than you want it to be, then get just a half size aluminum radiator. If the coolant becomes extremely hot then get that full size radiator.
My stock ej rad. is fine in the summer, but I have never done racing.

Ok, thanks for your opinions, i really don't know the brand of the aluminum radiator, right now i think it's going to be a waste of money if if buy it :)

I don't have the oil temperature and water temperature is because of blinx9900  hahaha, he didn't found me the greddy sensors for my gauges :(

i have a aluminum, the civic normal size one (the little one) no problems at all and i use my car only for track events :D

I take it Guatemala has a much hotter climate than the UK. Still, I think the aluminum half size is your best bet, at least its half the weight!

Koyo Radiator? first time i see that brand, they're from the USA right? :)

Mmmmmm I dont think so its a japanese brand... But underneath the radiator it has a little sticker saying "Manufactured in Indonesia" LOL

ohhh nice koyo B)

Ive got a std ITR rad inuse with my B16B, i wouldnt run without it, my engine runs very hot - even in the cold of winter my car reaches 'running temp' in a mear 5mins, and oil temp in only 7-8mins (of normal sub 3K rpm driving)

Ive yet to take it on track during summer, but if the weather in the uk stays as it is now (i.e its actually nice and sunny) well we have the 1st big show of the year coming up and ive got track time so we shall see :D
