What would you all recommend from personal experience?

Will be cleaning red recaros and a dc2 rear bench.

I cleaned "your" recaros last year with woolite and jet wash. Worked a treat, just needed a couple days by the radiator! They looked a lot better than what they did when I got the car from Mark :P You sure you don't want a nice EK9 rear bench instead of the DC2 one for 20 quid? :D

Yeah just going to clean them again before they get put in :) can't wait to get them off you, will organise a date with you :nice:

I used this shampoo **** from auto glym. I'm pretty sure I've had a pic on instagram like from a million weeks ago haha! Jet wash sounds good though lol. Marek, your rear bench won't fit in his civic. Yours is a pre facelift! :P

Ah, I always though they were the same? Good to know! I know that EK9 rear bench is not a straight swap item with other EKs but didn't know that pre-face and facelift benches were different!

yeah, the back part will fit. but the part where you sit on won't. I'm tempted to take them off you but I dunno haha! I've literately taken your whole rear interior lol

I used that autoglym interior shampoo on the recaros mate and worked a treat, good stuff :nice:

As previously said, woolite worked wonders on my red recaros. Cleaned by hand and a steamer.

I think the Autoglym Interior Shampoo is awesome. Firstly, I steam the seats and wipe away dirt. Apply the shampoo and rub it in. Give it a few wipes and let it dry. My rear DC2 seats came out mint :)

Good mix of Woolite in Pot of hot water , Soft Sponge ,Very Soft Brush and a micro fibre Cloth and Got at them , They will take 3 Good Days in heat to dry Properly.

P.S. When rinsing my cloth, the water was coming out brown... Keep in mind this was the bench, not backrests... :eew: That was how good the Autoglym stuff was.

Here's the results:

Looks really good man! Can't wait to do mine now

I used rug doctor and a jetwash on oem recaros before, light scrub up with a brush and come up real clean.
Stick seats next to radiator with a fan blowing on the seats(full power) will be dry within 24hours.

Your not going soft on us are you?

Haha noob mistake! Should have known really. Logan doesn't have recaros anymore lol

I cleaned my recaros a couple of weeks back, mine had the usual bedded in grime on the bolsters.

I used Chemical guys Nonsense diluted about 15/1 and a microfibre towel and they came up like new.

Lots of effort required but well worth putting the effort in.
