Im sure this has been asked before but the search function doesnt seem to work when online on my phone.

I currently have an OEM airbox, spoon filter and an elbow to delete the resonator.. Is there any ways of improving without changing to an intake that is very noisy?

A cold air feed maybe?

I have went from a cheapy ebay kit to this and can honestly say i felt a positive difference!

Im running the mugen cai on mine (wich some consider the "best") but that is costly and noisey.

Tbh mate i think the set up u have now or dc2 one with a cold air feed is the best bang for buck. I had a aem v2 on my old ek4 and changed it to the set up you have currently with the cold air feed and it was a noticable improvemnt, far better throttle response and seemed to deliver power more smothly in throughout the rev range and in vtec

Do some research, it's been covered time and time again!

Do some reading, i said the search function does not work.

Yea noticed the power delivery being alot smoother compared to the induction kit. Not a big fan of getting vtec to hit really hard so everyone can here it. Maybe just run a cold air feed to its pretty well hidden atm behind the bumper

Haha, yeah ok dude, search function works fine, spoon feeding you the answers is far easier

On the iphone, my search function doesnt work fine. I have to go into advanced search for it to work.

throttle bodies with cold air feed then an inclosed air intake like mugen or icebox.

CLOSE THE THREAD :nice: perfect answer..

there is nothing more you need to know.. Makes, Model, design = personal preference...

Im sure Google works fine!!

You are all wrong! The biggest cone you can find positioned around the head ontop of the exhaust manifold attached to a 4" intake pipe with a 3" throttle body.

cold air feed will be good with oem air box and spoon filter , some oem boxes have like groves inside to help reduce noise , alot remove these , granding , cutting etc to improve air flow ,smooths inside of the box , if yours has these could do that , doest cost anything , others even remove some of the layers on the filter to improve airflow but that may increase intake noise .
