a new clutch wont be fine? tranmission upgrade?
is that not one of them cheapo hong kong jobee's? bet it has probs with cracking with all that weight of the turbo and no bracing
a gt2871r will flow up to 400bhp @ the fly with a .64 housing, and would be very repsonsive. a .86 exhaust housing will flow more but will be laggyier. it all depends what the cars going to be used for, for a road car you ideally want a turbo thats going to provide good mid range so a gt3071r would be a good compromise for power and drivability, you wont want to go too big otherwise you will end up with a car thats only good in a drag race and no good for the twistys (which these cars are all about ) but it depends what you want...
also i would have said the gearbox will be under more strain in 3rd gear up as the torque will be going through the box at that point, where as 1st and 2nd is likely to be lighting the tyres up.
The manifold is made out of SUS304 Hi-Grade Stainless to help disperse heat. This manifold is drag-race quality, and similarly design manifolds can be found on professional drag cars. Manifold has flange for an external wastegate.
cant the stock rods andle 350hp. a ticker wont solve the compression problem? what is the normal compression of a stock b16b in paper is 10.8 but i have 11.8 and i dont now why just bought the engine like this from tigwa
and like said above, you will need a THICK head gasket to drop the cr to a decent and safe level for any decent boost. im sure you can get a custom gasket made though..
